UKG Timecard Officer

Your next career opportunity
As a UKG Timecard Officer at the University of Melbourne, you'll be at the forefront of HR technology implementation. You'll provide vital support for the newly introduced Workday HR and Finance platform, UKG (Kronos) timecard system, and Dayforce payroll solution. This role offers you the chance to enhance the employee experience, ensure payroll accuracy, and contribute to the efficiency of HR operations across the University.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide First-Level Support: Assist employees and managers with day-to-day queries regarding UKG Timecard functionality.
  • Manage Timecard Data: Support timecard processing, manage delegations, and handle TOIL requests.
  • Generate Reports: Produce timecard data reports, reconciliations, and backdate transactions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Support end-to-end timecard processing and follow up on non-compliant stakeholders.
  • Offer Guidance: Provide advice on manual workaround processes, ensuring appropriate assurance controls for pay-impacting data.

You may be a great fit if:
You have experience in HR shared services, particularly in time and attendance systems, with a strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

You may also:

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in HR operations.
  • Demonstrate COO values, including service excellence and collaborative work.
  • Have experience working in high-volume, transactional HR environments.
  • Possess knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work compliance requirements.
  • Be proficient in UKG (Kronos) system administration.
  • Have experience with online service management systems like ServiceNow.
  • Show strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
