As an Infrastructure Applications Analyst/Developer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the University's enterprise applications. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse technical challenges, collaborating with a talented team to ensure system availability and performance. This role offers you the chance to develop your skills across a wide range of technologies while contributing to the success of a leading educational institution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Technical Support and Maintenance: Execute support and maintenance tasks for infrastructure applications, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet service requirements.
  • Manage Application Lifecycle: Participate in software currency maintenance, version control, and production deployments, acting as a gatekeeper for production-ready software.
  • Resolve Complex Issues: Analyse and diagnose production incidents, working effectively with a team of experts to resolve multi-functional problems.
  • Improve Processes and Documentation: Develop and maintain operational documentation, and contribute to the improvement of support processes and tools.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a skilled IT professional with tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, possessing a strong technical background in enterprise systems and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a complex, fast-paced environment.

You may also:

  • Have experience in administering and maintaining enterprise systems in a commercial environment.
  • Possess strong knowledge of ITIL practices and information systems support.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Have experience with a range of technologies, including Windows Server, UNIX, IIS, Apache, and various database systems.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
