We are currently looking to hire two Alumni Relations Managers to join our team of alumni engagement professionals.
As Alumni Relations Manager, you'll spearhead initiatives that strengthen the bond between the University and its alumni. You'll lead a dynamic team, developing and implementing innovative engagement programs that create mutual benefit.
One role will focus on leading the delivery of alumni volunteering opportunities across the University, including a well-established suite of mentoring programs, and the ongoing stewardship of our alumni volunteers.
The other role will focus on leading a team to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver engagement activities that respond to strategic priorities, across the gamut of alumni engagement.
Both roles will involve working productively across the University, leveraging both digital and face-to-face strategies to foster alumni connections and support the institution's strategic goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Manage and mentor a team of alumni relations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Design and Implement Engagement Strategies: Develop and oversee programs that support the University's Alumni Relations Plan, working collaboratively across departments.
- Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with faculty clusters, Advancement teams, and other University stakeholders.
- Analyse and Improve Engagement Outcomes: Evaluate the impact of alumni programs, using data-driven insights to refine and enhance engagement strategies
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced external relations professional with a track record of developing and implementing successful engagement strategies, possessing strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
You may also:
- Have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in alumni or external relations.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage complex relationships.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of best practices in alumni relations.
- Have experience in managing volunteers and delivering international engagement programs.
- Be proficient in data analysis and CRM systems, with the ability to leverage insights for program improvement.
