About the Role
The Faculty Executive Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Strategy, Planning and Resources team, providing critical administrative support to the Dean's Office, SPR, and Academic Services. This diverse role demands a highly organised and adaptable individual to manage a wide range of responsibilities, from executive support to project management and stakeholder liaison. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive support to the Dean's Office, SPR, and Academic Services, including executive assistance, project management, and coordination of key initiatives.
- Managing a range of internal HR type services, such as induction, performance reviews, promotions, recruitment, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the Faculty, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
You will also have:
- Completion of a relevant tertiary qualification in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially Outlook, Word and Excel are critical to the role. An eagerness to learn new applications are highly desirable.
- Previous administrative experience in a tertiary education environment or similar educational institution is also desirable.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

Your New Team – Strategy, Planning and Resources
The Strategy, Planning and Resources team provides expertise and leadership to ensure that the Faculty and its Departments achieve their strategic and operational goals and objectives. It does this by:
- Development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Faculty’s strategy and business planning.
- Leadership and oversight of the risk management for the Faculty within the University’s risk management policies, systems and processes.
- Ensuring that the faculty efficiently and effectively allocates its teaching capability, human capital, financial resources and infrastructure to achieve the Faculty’s strategic objectives.
- Leveraging the resources and capabilities of university professional shared services to enable the Faculty to deliver on its operational and strategic goals.
