As a Senior Administrative Officer in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, you'll play a crucial role in supporting high-level academic leaders and driving operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Executive Support: Manage complex diaries, prioritise schedules, and handle confidential communications for Associate Deans and faculty leadership.
  • Drive Process Improvement: Continuously enhance workflows and administrative systems, leveraging AI tools to optimise efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Deliver High-Quality Administrative Services: Manage procurement, travel arrangements, committee support, and project administration with precision and professionalism.
  • Foster Collaboration: Actively participate in team tasks, share insights, and build strong relationships across the faculty to support a culture of mutual support and innovation.

You are a proactive and adaptable professional with exceptional organisational skills, a forward-thinking mindset on generative AI, and the ability to handle complex administrative tasks with discretion and efficiency in a fast-paced academic environment.

You may also:

  • Have a degree or diploma in a relevant field with substantial experience in administrative roles.
  • Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including emerging tools like Copilot.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Show a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in administrative processes.
  • Be highly resourceful, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Have experience in managing confidential information with discretion and integrity
