Your next career opportunity
As the Technical Team Lead for ERP Systems, you'll spearhead the development and management of critical HR, Finance, and Payroll platforms. You'll have the opportunity to lead a team, collaborating with product owners and functional teams to translate complex requirements into innovative technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the university's digital landscape, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across multiple systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Technical Innovation: Partner with product owners and architects to translate business needs into technical requirements, overseeing solution development
  • Manage and Develop Solutions: Oversee the prioritisation and evaluation of work, ensuring high-quality product functionality that meets stakeholder requirements
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with functional and integration leads, engaging stakeholders and managing relationships to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Drive System Enhancements: Collaborate on roadmap development, advise on platform utilisation, and proactively manage risks to ensure system success

You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced technical leader with a strong background in ERP systems, particularly Workday, Ascender Pay and UKG, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into innovative technical solutions.

You may also:

  • Have previous experience as an Enterprise-level Workday Tech Design Lead or Senior Developer
  • Have previous experience with Workday Security and Reporting (highly advantageous)
  • Possess a technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (desirable)
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Workday modules and business processes, including HCM, Absence, Compensation, and Talent
  • Have experience in leading integration efforts for Business Technology Platforms, SFTP, and Workday tools such as EIB, RAAS, and Connectors, such as Boomi
  • Exhibit strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage and guide a development team in an Agile environment
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday HCM technical roles
  • Possess excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system challenges
