Your next career opportunity
As an Associate Project Manager in the Enterprise Technology Portfolio, you'll lead multi-disciplinary IT infrastructure projects of simple to moderate complexity. You'll oversee the delivery of small to medium-scale initiatives, particularly focusing on implementing IT components within construction projects. This role offers you the chance to contribute significantly to the University's technological advancement while managing key relationships to ensure optimal project and service outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Project Delivery: Manage individual projects with moderate organisational and technical complexity, ensuring successful delivery to budget, schedule, and specifications.
  • Collaborate Across Portfolios: Work with Construction Planning and Delivery project managers to provide IT project management coordination and delivery.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Lead cross-functional teams and manage day-to-day relationships with clients and project owners.
  • Ensure Compliance and Best Practices: Adhere to relevant internal and external guidelines, including legislation, statutes, regulations, and policies.

You may be a great fit if:

You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver projects successfully in a complex organisational environment.

You may also:

  • Possess a relevant postgraduate qualification with significant experience in IT project management.
  • Have experience working on medium to large IT project teams, particularly in infrastructure or business process improvement.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMBoK, PRINCE2, and Agile.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Have experience with ITIL and service management practices.
