The Senior HR Adviser, HR Assist will be a pivotal force in the University's HR Shared Services, driving impactful support across the employee lifecycle. With the Workday transition in 2025, they will spearhead user adoption and process optimisation, navigating ambiguity with a solution-oriented, customer-centric approach. Leveraging deep HR expertise, this role will champion continuous improvement, empower stakeholders, and elevate service delivery through strategic system and process enhancements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive HR services, ensuring policy adherence and supporting HR Business Partners on operational matters.
- Providing exceptional customer service across all channels, promoting self-service through training and support materials.
- Managing the employee lifecycle, including offers, variations, and data maintenance, while ensuring Workday accuracy.
- Driving process improvements, coaching team members, and resolving complex issues, fostering a collaborative and efficient HR environment.

You are a highly collaborative and service-driven HR professional, adept at navigating high-volume transactional environments, providing HR policy and EA advice, and meeting tight deadlines. This individual will possess expertise in HR systems including Workday , along with online service management tools (Service Now), and demonstrate a proven ability to influence stakeholders and provide expert policy guidance. You will also contribute to a positive team dynamic and driving continuous improvement and develop stakeholder relationships.
You may also have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- The ability to work in a high volume, transactional HR-shared services environment, including meeting tight deadlines and dealing with conflicting demands.
- Experience working with HR Systems including Workday and UKG.
- Experience in working online service management systems, including ServiceNow or CRMs.
