Your next career opportunity
As the Lead, Support and Operations within Student and Learning Systems, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering functional and technical support for the University of Melbourne's student administration systems. You'll have the opportunity to develop and manage support services, monitor system performance, and liaise with critical stakeholders. Your expertise will directly impact the student experience by ensuring key systems are operational and fit for purpose. This role offers you the chance to lead process development and support models during crucial system transitions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage Support Services: Develop and oversee proactive and reactive support for student administration systems, ensuring resolution within service standards.
- Monitor System Performance: Assess system processes and identify emerging issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal users, external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective system operations.
- Strategic Planning: Align support functions with the University business cycle, anticipating customer needs and communicating key dates and activities.
- Transition Management: Develop processes and support models for transitioning systems from project implementation to operational support.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced IT professional with a strong background in system support and operations, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex technical environments while focusing on enhancing user experience.
You may also:
- Have extensive experience in managing support services for large-scale administrative systems.
- Possess strong knowledge of student administration systems and higher education processes.
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Have experience in developing and implementing support models and processes.
- Be adept at aligning technical operations with business cycles and user needs.
- Have a track record of successful system transitions from project to operational phases.
