As Senior Admissions Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team overseeing both international and domestic admissions processes. You'll have the opportunity to shape admissions policies, streamline operations, and implement innovative strategies and projects to achieve the university's enrolment targets. Your expertise will be crucial in analysing market trends, optimising processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive sustained growth and diversity in student enrolments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop high-performing teams: Oversee Admissions Managers and experts, setting clear expectations and fostering continuous development.
- Drive operational excellence: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring service standards and compliance align with performance metrics.
- Implement strategic initiatives: Conduct data analysis to enhance admissions performance, identify opportunities, and deliver insights on trends.
- Ensure compliance and best practices: Implement risk management practices and stay abreast of industry trends to maintain high standards.
- Foster strong relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships with adjacent teams, key stakeholders, and other departments to drive collaboration and shared success.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced admissions professional with a proven track record in leadership, possessing excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive innovation in a complex higher education environment.
You may also:
- Have extensive experience in tertiary education admissions, including 3-5 years in a mid-level leadership role.
- Possess strong organisational planning skills and the ability to lead change initiatives.
- Demonstrate expertise in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and enhancing stakeholder experiences.
- Have excellent project management and process improvement skills, including applying technology to admissions functions.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgement in complex situations.
- Possess exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
