Your next career opportunity
As a Talent Acquisition Support Officer, you'll play a crucial role in the University's recruitment lifecycle. You'll have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of recruitment processes, support end-to-end recruitment activities, and contribute to improve our talent acquisition strategies. This role offers you the chance to work autonomously and collaboratively, providing excellent customer service and liaising with diverse stakeholders across the University community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage Recruitment Processes: Oversee direct appointments, draft and post advertisements, and coordinate panel interviews.
- Provide Administrative Support: Handle advertising charge backs, code expenses, and maintain accurate system updates for reporting.
- Enhance Candidate Experience: Manage candidate relationships and support the Employee Value Proposition initiatives.
- Contribute to Team Success: Participate in special projects, champion team initiatives, and support the achievement of key recruitment metrics.

You are a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.
You may also:
- Have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-focused mindset.
- Demonstrate high-level organisational and time management abilities.
- Have experience with recruitment processes and ATS information systems.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to various digital platforms.
- Show a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.

Your new team
The Talent Acquisition Team provides specialist recruitment services to the university. Supporting both Academic and Professional roles, the team provide best-practice expertise for the hire of internal and external staff. The Talent Acquisition Team and this role sit in the HR Services Group, providing other specialist and transactional support across the employee lifecycle including HR administration, payroll, and travel services.
