Your next career opportunity
As a Student Recruitment Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of high-achieving secondary school students. You'll coordinate the prestigious University of Melbourne Extension Program (UMEP), allowing Year 12 students to experience university-level studies. This role offers you the chance to develop and deliver impactful programs, engage with diverse educational communities, and contribute to the transition of talented students into university life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate UMEP: Develop, deliver, and manage the Extension Program for high-achieving secondary students.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Build relationships with schools, students, and university staff to optimise recruitment outcomes.
  • Manage Communications: Produce program information across various media and handle enquiries from prospective and current students.
  • Represent the University: Conduct recruitment activities and presentations in dedicated regions across Australia.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated professional with a degree and relevant experience, possessing excellent communication and organisational skills, and a passion for nurturing academic talent and guiding students in their educational journey.

You may also:

  • Have a degree with relevant experience; or extensive experience and broad knowledge of the field; or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience and/or education and training.
  • Have experience in customer service, communications, marketing, or event organisation.
  • Have experience using digital platforms and CRM systems to manage client relationships.
  • Show knowledge of the Australian higher education sector and secondary school community
