About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled communications professional to make a significant impact in a dynamic university environment. You will have the chance to shape and deliver strategic communications for cutting-edge infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing communications plans and stakeholder engagement strategies for FEIT Infrastructure projects and initiatives
- Maintaining and enhancing SharePoint to ensure it remains dynamic, user-friendly, and aligned with key messaging and digital content strategies
- Creating and delivering targeted communications across various channels (print, digital, social) to diverse audience groups
- Driving process improvement by optimising digital formats, streamlining communication workflows, and implementing best practices
- Collaborating closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop and deliver effective messaging and engagement initiatives
Who We Are Looking For
We're looking for a proactive and adaptable communicator who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about driving positive change through effective stakeholder engagement. You should be motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of a world-class university.
You will also have:
- A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, or a related field, with relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and communications in complex environments
- Strong skills in developing content for various communications channels and platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
