STUDENT PROGRAMS COORDINATOR

  • Coordinate initiatives fostering a sense of belonging and connection within the FEIT student community through enrichment programs across the entire student journey. 

  • Play a pivotal role in enhancing the academic and personal development of FEIT students by coordinating enrichment programs, ultimately positioning FEIT as a leading destination for engineering and IT education.

About the Role

In this key role, you'll craft innovative programs that cultivate an inclusive, vibrant community while equipping students with essential skills for their future careers. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinate and implement the Student Experience strategic plan and new/existing engagement initiatives through activities and events. 

  • Design, execute, and evaluate tailored experiential learning programs for FEIT students. 

  • Coordinate enrichment program operations including processes, recruitment, training, technology platforms and content development. 

Who We Are Looking For 
You will be an experienced program/project coordinator adept at managing relationships with diverse stakeholders. 

You thrive in fast-paced environments, combining strong communication skills with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities to deliver creative solutions. 

You will also have: 

  • A tertiary qualification with subsequent work experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training in a similar role in a tertiary environment. 

  • Proven ability to develop/manage relationships with employers, industry, community groups and stakeholders. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships across teams. 

  • Capacity to work autonomously and lead projects with minimal supervision.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
