About the Role
Work closely with the Business Development Team to support and progress specific opportunities, maintain effective relationships with faculty staff, and manage transactions and agreements in line with the Faculty’s strategies and goals within the context of FoE’s Strategic Plan 2027. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand FoE’s capabilities and support the development of the FoE business development plan through specific projects.
  • Collaborate with FoE and RIC colleagues to support the development and completion of transactional deals.
  • Assist the BD Director with administrative support for developing opportunity responses, including tender responses.
  • Coordinate identified opportunities and provide information into key business development systems.

Who we are looking for
You will be an enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team player with a positive approach to business development, capable of providing excellent service to multiple internal and external stakeholders.

You will also have:

  • A degree with 4 years subsequent relevant experience or extensive experience in a relevant field and/ or relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a (ideally but not necessarily) in the Humanities or Social Sciences.
  • Sound digital literacy and proficiency in CRM/data management systems.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
