About the Role
As our Marketing Specialist, you will provide strategic marketing advice to Faculty leaders and implement targeted initiatives that drive audience advocacy, acquisition, and retention. Your role will span across students, alumni, and research/industry sectors, collaborating closely with key stakeholders and under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.

In this dynamic position, you’ll support the delivery of engaging Faculty content and communications, ensuring they resonate with our diverse audiences. You will also analyse and evaluate marketing communications activities, continuously optimizing our programs for maximum impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting and executing marketing campaigns for Faculty products, while developing, launching, and refreshing value propositions.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of Faculty marketing activities to enhance current initiatives and guide future programs.
  • Managing complex channel deliverables to support student recruitment, alumni engagement, research/industry outreach, and Faculty community building.
  • Curating Faculty content across various channels, ensuring content aligns with audience needs and business objectives.

You will also have:

  • Demonstrated work experience within relevant marketing and communications field and tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, finance, business or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Demonstrated successful delivery of marketing communications activities including marketing campaigns within a large and complex organisation.
  • 5+ years’ experience in integrated marketing communications, content development and execution, including digital media platforms
  • Considerable experience in complex decision making requiring high levels of expertise and judgement.
  • Strong focus and demonstrated track record in delivering exceptional client service

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
