About the Team
There are several initiatives underway across the University that will impact our employees in a variety of ways across 2024 and 2025. These include further increasing our focus on compliance work, the delivery of our ERP Program, the implementation of a new Research Management System (RMS) and the implementation of the current Enterprise Agreement.

Given the scope of these changes they will have broad impacts on individual employees as well as the role of our leaders.

About the Role
The Change Manager – Organisational Readiness is pivotal in supporting University-wide change initiatives, particularly amid significant undertakings such as compliance enhancement, ERP Program delivery, RMS implementation, and EA integration throughout 2024 and 2025. This role will be instrumental in devising change strategies and plans for upcoming phases of the Workforce Strategy and Planning Program, ensuring holistic change management expertise and leadership to end users. With a focus on individual employees and the evolving role of leaders, the Change Manager facilitates smooth transitions and organizational readiness amidst transformative endeavors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assess the readiness for change and identify key stakeholders across the University.
  • Develop comprehensive change management plans for projects or initiatives encompassing - analysis, planning, implementation, communication, and associated considerations.
  • Create and implement change management processes and tools to facilitate integration and engagement with change management principles.
  • Conduct impact analyses and evaluate the actual impact of changes.


Who we are looking for
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team skills, fostering a positive team environment while effectively collaborating with colleagues. Additionally, proficiency in various project management methodologies and facilitation techniques will be essential for success in this role.

You will also have:

  • Certified Change Management Professional e.g. Prosci, CCMP, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Human Resource, Organisational Psychology, or related field). Post graduate qualifications are desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the change process and contemporary change management models.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex change management processes and strategies at an enterprise level.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
