About the Role
As an Enrolment Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, time-sensitive enrolment services to students and staff across the University. This position requires strong interpersonal and administrative skills, alongside a commitment to customer service, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will manage a diverse range of tasks, from assessing enrolment variations and academic progress to supporting compliance with University and Government policies, ensuring a seamless experience for students throughout their academic journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering accurate and culturally appropriate advice and support to students and colleagues, managing complex or sensitive enquiries and ensuring compliance with course rules and policies.
- Conducting study plan audits, assessing enrolment status, academic progress, and visa requirements, and supporting initiatives such as student exchange and enrolment assistance.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders, drafting process documents, web content, reports, and training materials, and representing the team in working groups.
- Proactively identifying and addressing issues, contributing to system improvements, and collaborating with Student Services teams to provide seamless support throughout the student lifecycle.
Who we are looking for
You will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service within a large and complex organisation, showcasing your versatility, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Your collaborative nature, strong communication skills, and dedication to service excellence will enable you to build relationships, deliver professional advice, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining high standards of accessibility, accuracy, and compliance.
You will also have:
- An undergraduate degree or advanced diploma qualification with at least one year’s relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A high level of proficiency in using large integrated databases and standard software applications, including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
- Desirable knowledge of student administration services, their interdependencies, and the academic and personal challenges faced by tertiary education students.
- Experience with systems such as TechnologyOne ‘Student Management,’ OneCRM/Salesforce, Resolve, APEX, and FormStack, as well as familiarity with PRISMS and the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
