About the Role:
Beyond the provision of affordable mental health support to our university community, in this role, you will also be capable of developing a stream of referrals from within the Health Service.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team in our primary care setting, our practice had the facilities to offer excellent administrative and collegial support for all our clinical contractors.
Located in the heart of the Lygon Street Cafe precinct, this very busy and inclusive practice offers a relaxed and welcoming workplace, excellent remuneration as well as a variety of great facilities and amenities!
Our operating hours are from 8.45 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
About You

You will be able to demonstrate:
- At least 3 years post-graduate experience
- High level of expertise and standard of ethical practice
- Experience in CBT and other modalities
- Experience with mood and anxiety disorders
- Commitment to evidence-based therapies
- Ability to work independently and to be highly organised, self-motivated, and driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to develop their client base with our practice manager and independently, including ongoing liaison with GP's and other referrers.
- Ability to work with a varied client base with a keen understanding of the needs of the student population
- Friendly, warm personality with the ability to build a strong rapport with clients
Qualifications; Certifications and other business-related requirements:
- Full registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist
- Medicare provider status
- Own indemnity insurance
- ABN
- Current Police and Working with Children Checks (or willingness to undergo)
